The stages of your home project
1 - First visit and choice of model
You take a tour of our manufacturing plant, and we'll advise you on the best choice of home for your needs. During a second meeting, we'll determine whether you need to change the original plans of the chosen model to make it fit perfectly with what you're looking for.
2 - First deposit and personalization of plans
To go ahead with your project and receive the floor and elevation plan, an initial deposit of $2500 is required. Following this deposit, we will adjust the plans according to your needs. These plans will allow you to validate your project with your municipality.
3 - Project submission and validation
We'll provide you with a detailed quotation, including any additions or modifications you've specified. This quotation will remain valid for 10 days, giving you the time you need to make your final decision and obtain financial approval from your bank. We encourage you to use this time to finalize your financial arrangements.
4 - Signing the sales contract
When you sign the sales contract, a second deposit will be required. This deposit represents 15% of the total value of your home, taxes included, and will take into account the initial deposit you made earlier. This step marks a significant advance in the realization of your project.
5 - Verification of your plot
We will personally assess your land to ensure the feasibility of delivering your home. Should delivery prove impossible, you will be reimbursed, less any costs incurred by our team.
6 - Choice of materials
During your meeting with our designer, you will have the opportunity to choose the materials that will make up your future space. Our designer is on hand to provide expert advice and help you realize your vision. To make this step even smoother, we encourage you to bring examples of your inspirations. This will help our designer better understand your tastes and align material choices with the style you envision.
7 - Design and construction
We will design the detailed construction plans and provide you with the foundation or piling plans. Construction time depends on our other ongoing projects. You will be informed of the delivery time at the first meeting.
8 - Finding your contractors
You are responsible for finding the contractors who will finish the installation of your home: electrician, plumber, crane, foundation, piles. We can help you with this process, but this assistance is not included in the cost of the home.
9 - Delivery and installation
Your home is delivered on a pre-arranged route. Our team installs your home on your lot, which can take from 1 to 3 days. The electrician and plumber connect your home. This usually takes 1 day. Finally, it's time to enjoy your new home!
